Summer Orchestra Academy at the Appell Center
The Appell Center is launching its first ever Summer Orchestra Academy June 17-21, an intensive music academy for students in grades 7-12. The application deadline is May 27 so there is still time left to register. For more information, click on the link below.
2019 Spring Concert Tickets Now On Sale
The 2019 YJSO Spring Concert is Sunday, April 14, 3:00 PM at the Dallastown Area Intermediate School located at 94 Beck Road, York, PA.
There will be a pre-concert performance by the YJSO String Octet in the lobby at 2:15 pm. When you arrive, please park and enter the building through the Flag Pole Entrance, which is accessible for seniors and handicapped patrons.

Send a Loveline to Your Musician
Help cheer on your musician with an encouraging message in the concert program. Each Loveline costs only $5.00.
Just e-mail your Lovelines to Deepti Jindal at board@yjso.org with “LOVELINE” in the subject of the e-mail. Please include the musician’s name, the message, and your name in the body of the e-mail. Lovelines are limited to a maximum of 25 words.

Schedule Change
Rehearsal on Saturday, March 30, 2019 has been moved to our snow date, Sunday March 31, from 2:00 PM - 4:00PM. The Calendar page has been updated with the latest schedules.
The Summer Music Camp Scholarship auditions will also occur on Sunday. If your child wishes to audition, please turn in his/her application before our rehearsal this Saturday, March 9th. A copy of the Scholarship Application can be downloaded, or a copy can be found in the YJSO Handbook.
